It is well known that depression is sometimes called “the evil of the 21st century”. Studies have shown that it is, in fact, an illness that can be treated just like any other. However, the first step to getting rid of the problem is to understand and accept that you are sick. To do this, it is important to know how to identify certain signals that indicate the presence of the disease.
newdiscoover would like to introduce you, today, to the most common signs of depression, so that you can become aware of them and, if necessary, consult your doctor.
You feel tired/exhausted
The lack of energy lasts for several days in a row, even if your rhythm hasn’t changed. You feel tired as soon as you wake up.
You feel like you have no value and don’t deserve to be alive.
You begin to think that you are useless. You may also have suicidal thoughts and not be afraid of death, because you can’t make sense of life anyway.
You have problems concentrating and remembering
You begin to forget important things and have trouble remembering a name or phone number. Listening to someone or reading a book becomes a challenge because you can’t concentrate on what you are reading or what is going on around you.
